Accommodation Gastronomy
Ryn
Ryn Castle Hotel is located in the heart of the Great Masurian Lake District. The castle rises above the picturesquely situated town of Ryn, on a narrow pass between two lakes: Ołów and Ryńskie. The hotel owes its unique and exceptional atmosphere to its history. There are many great hotels, however, only a few offer such an unusual atmosphere as the one that can be found inrecepcja Ryn Castle Hotel. Ryn Castle is a 14th century Gothic Teutonic Knights’ castle, which was a witness of the turbulent history of the town and the entire region. The castle was the residence of Friedrich von Wallenrod, Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights. The oldest information about the castle comes from 1377 chronicles. Its present owners bought the castle in 2001, making the decision to reconstruct the decaying structure. The castle was reconstructed in accordance with thecristal preserved documentation and earlier tradition.  On the left side of the entrance to the reception, you can see the original castle wall with well-preserved decorative elements and an outline of the original Gothic brick window arches. The oldest part of the castle is where the Komtur or the Commander lived. The four wings of the Castle: the Commander, Knights, Hunting and Prison wings have been restored to their previous splendor. Each wing has its special character, and the rooms offer individual and unique interior design with rosewood furniture reflecting the architecture of the castle. The hotel has a total of 167 chambers, single and double rooms and suites of high standard. The central point of the castle is the courtyard which for centuries has played a banqueting and entertaining role. In the spirit of the old traditions, the covered courtyard is used for the organization of chivalry and noble feasts, knights tournaments and balls. The courtyard area of over 900 m2 and a height of 8.5 m is also a venue of colorful fairs and shows of light and sound. Ryn Castle Hotel offers a modern and professionally equipped conference and congress centre consisting of 10 meeting rooms, which can accommodate 1,000 people, including the biggest room with 500 seats. The restaurant halls – the Great Refectory and the Refectory - spoil their guests with regional cuisine prepared with traditional recipes, as well as with meads. The stylish Gothic cellars welcome all guests to a recreation centre with a swimming pool, where they can enjoy a wide range of leisure facilities.

PRINCESS ANNE SPA, sauna, water jets and power showers provide rest and relieve stress. And for those seeking entertainment there is also a nightclub and a three-lane bowling alley.
